Role Overview:
Your primary focus will be interpreting customer inquiries, crafting precise quotations that align with technical specifications, and ensuring commercial appeal while adhering to set margins. Additionally, you'll manage direct material procurement.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate customer requirements and prepare high-quality proposals while adhering to commercial policies.
• Negotiate contract terms for mutual benefit and exceptional customer service.
• Liaise effectively with customers, ensuring top-notch after-sales support and relationship building.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate technical and commercial responses to clients.
• Maintain a meticulous log of customer sales inquiries and handle complaint reporting.
• Generate accurate purchase orders and oversee timely deliveries from suppliers.
• Manage emergency spares stock levels and handle material discrepancy complaints.
• Serve as a technical specialist for a range of igus® products, ensuring customer satisfaction and continual improvement in purchasing.
• Collaborate closely with the external sales team to surpass customer expectations.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess:
• Tertiary education in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
• Technical prowess to interpret and convey technical data effectively.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and organized with excellent teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work toward common goals in a sales environment.
• Meticulous quoting and pricing abilities, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking leading to creative solutions.
• Familiarity with the company's product range and basic computer applications.
