The space-saving and safe alternative to trailing cables
Your advantages at a glance:

- No cable loops hanging down
- Long service life thanks to securely guided cables
- Cost-effective - no guide trough required
- Reduced assembly time
- Extensively tested in the igus laboratory
How does GLO.S work?
The lower run lies on the flange of the T-beam and is connected to the trolley. The upper run is held above the trolley by means of rockers, the guidelok swing elements. Rockers are bolted to the crossbar of the T-beam at intervals of 800mm. When the upper run passes by, the chain radius pushes the rocker flaps upwards and locks into place. In the opposite movement, the flaps open like a trapdoor and release the upper run. The advantage: low wear and a long service life as the upper and lower runs never touch.
How is the system being received? Is it already in use?
SEW Eurodrive is one of the first users of the system. The German manufacturer of drive technology has equipped an indoor crane at its plant in Gauteng, South Africa, with the guidelok swing. The crane moves components for chemical cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner. The operator decided in favour of the guidelok swing GLO.S, which has reduced the risk of accidents and increased the crane's reliability.
