The ESD E4.1 system combines all the advantages
of its three predecessors and is the best system in the igus® range of e-chains®. Series E4.1 is stronger whilst having the same or even smaller dimensions than the previous versions. Almost all accessories
and mounting dimensions are
identical. With the the igus® E4.1 system, the service life
of your application can be increased even more
with lower costs.
Available inner widths Bi: 50 to 200 mmAvailable bend radii R: 63 to 250 mmPitch: 56 mm/link = 18 links / m (1008 mm)
*The required clearance height is HF = H + 40 mm (at 2 kg/m fill weight). This should be taken into account for all application types
** The calculated length corresponds to the chain length without mounting brackets.

The diagrams for unsupported lengths
apply to standard e-chains® in igumid GLW material. The values
can also be used for assessing e-chain® applications
in ESD special material.
If the respective maximum unsupported length exceeds 80%, the suitability of the e-chain® should be verified by a practice-oriented test.

We recommend letting our engineers support you when planning this type of system. In case of travel lengths between 7,0 and 10 m, we recommend a larger unsupported e-chain®.

"Super-aluminium" trough - the igus® standard for guide troughs
The "Super" aluminium trough is a modular system of guide troughs for long travels (where e-chains® are gliding on top of themselves). The basic "Super" aluminium trough has a simple and cost-efficient designs and can be expanded for sophisticated plant engineering.
Its universal design makes it the recommended igus® standard for guide troughs.
