igubal KALM-2.0 and KARM-2.0 - maintenance-free metal rod ends with male thread for high loads
The igubal KALM-2.0 and KARM-2.0 rod ends with male thread are the ideal solution for applications with high static and dynamic loads. They are available as a stainless-steel (AISI 304) version with a stainless-steel (1.4028) spherical ball or as a galvanised-steel (1.0503) version with a hard-chromed steel (1.3505) spherical ball. With their sliding ring made of high-performance plastic, they are a lubrication-free alternative to conventional rod ends. The solid lubricant contained in the entire plastic is released in microscopic quantities over time and ensures maintenance-free dry operation. Depending on the requirements, various iglidur materials are available:
- iglidur J – the versatile all-rounder with very good wear specifications
- iglidur X - for extreme temperatures (-100°C to +250°C, short-term +315°C)
- iglidur A181 – for FDA-compliant applications in the food and pharmaceutical sectors
- iglidur G – specifically for applications with alternating loads
The igubal 2.0 rod ends are used in many industries to transmit dynamic forces in pivoting, tilting and rotating movements. Shaft diameter, thread direction, thread type, ring material and housing material can be selected.
