ROIBOT Award – Winner 2024

The ROIBOT Award is presented every two years by a jury of press and industry experts and honours creative automation projects full of innovative spirit.

With over 100 submissions from 20 countries, the competition impressively demonstrates how versatile Low Cost Automation can be – from precise telescopic calibration devices and quality assurance in the packaging industry to an inspiring inclusion project that enables people with disabilities to work independently through robotics.

The top three companies and a special prize for educational institutions will receive a voucher for RBTX, the marketplace for robotics components .

Independent at last: Automated workplace

The use of cost-effective and user-friendly robotics technology makes an innovative automation project possible that enables people with severe physical disabilities to work independently.

Visual quality control

The ReBeL cobot optimises quality assurance in the packaging industry by precisely aligning cartons, stacking them neatly and subjecting them to a visual quality check using an integrated camera.

Robots for particle physics

For a basic research project in astroparticle physics, a low-maintenance, grease-free motion system with a long service life was developed, consisting of a special XY table with robust linear rails
