Profile rol e-chain® P4: for very high fill weights and speeds

Over 1,000 systems with conventional rol e-chains are in continuous use worldwide. The industry, and crane construction in particular, is placing ever greater demands on travel length, fill weight, special and high travelling speeds with smooth operation. We fulfil these requirements with the P4 system. Systems of this type should be designed by our project engineers - we would be happy to provide you with a quotation.   • The pitch of chain links with and without roller is identical
  • The upper run rollers passing through the lower run rollers (not on top of each other as with previous profile rol e-chains) allows for very smooth operation
  • "Captive" roller integrated into side section
  • Long travels (up to 800m), high additional loads (up to 30 kg/m)
  • For very long travels and high speeds of up to 10m/s
  • AUTO-GLIDE crossbars ensure safe guidance for very long travels
  • 2 inner heights available (32 and 42mm)
  • Modular P4 system with internal separations of the E4 system
  • Significant reduction of the drive force to less than 25% for moving the energy chain
  • Can be equipped with i.Sense condition monitoring system

Test for long travels

The rol e-chain was tested with a travel speed of up to 8 m/s over a distance of currently 200m, which corresponds to 400m of travel. The fully automated system takes into account a wide range of applications in terms of acceleration and speed. In addition to the mechanical load caused by the movement of the transfer vehicle, environmental influences have an unimpeded effect on the tested energy chain and cable.
