drylin W profile rail guides

drylin W profile rails enable extremely high flexibility in design and simple assembly through the use of single, double or curved rails. Hard-anodised aluminium is used as a rail material and provides the best coefficient of friction and low wear results for profile rails. The robust high-profile carbon fibre is especially lightweight.

An important feature is the fact that the plain bearings of the carriages allow the profile guide high precision and a quiet operation. igus GmbH has an extensive product range of over 50 different designs of linear guide carriages. As part of the modular drylin W series, the carriages in combination with the other design elements enable an almost unlimited variety of models.

The maintenance and lubrication-free pillow block moves smoothly over the rails in dry operation. By using sliding surfaces made of tribologically optimised high-performance polymers, the linear housings are particularly robust and insensitive to external influences such as chemicals, heat, water, dirt and impact loads.
