How does the wear develop when pivoting with increasing loads?

The wear comparison was carried out under the following test parameters:

Load: 1 and 2MPa
Speed: 0.01m/s
Shaft: Cf53 and 304 SS
Plain bearing materials: iglidur J and iglidur W300

Test result

In the igus® laboratories it was determined that the increase in the coefficient of wear of the iglidur® plain bearings doubled in low-load pivoting movement, but still remained significantly below the coefficient of wear of the sintered bushings.
