Beer lift for DIY application

To the beer lift

A second fridge in the garden requires lots of space and energy. To avoid this, Mr Kessler from kessler engineering has designed a beer lift. This DIY beverage lift is installed in a hole in the garden. The ground is cold so that drinks can be cooled without power. The beer lift can hold up to 21 bottles. It saves space in both garden and fridge and is the highlight of any garden party.

The dryspin technology was convincing

Our dryspin lead screw nuts made from iglidur high-performance polymers do not require a single drop of lubricant. This means they are completely maintenance-free. Another decisive advantage over metallic lead screw nuts: they are 100% rustproof. Even when used in corrosive and extreme weather conditions, dryspin lead screw drives always run smoothly - perfect for a beer lift in a hole in the ground. And even the lightweight design can be supported: dryspin lead screw nuts are up to 88% lighter than conventional lead screw nuts.

The dryspin technology developed by us achieves an up to 30% longer service life due to the asymmetry of the thread pitches, and an increased efficiency thanks to the flat flank angles. The contact surface between the lead screw and nut is reduced and the lead screw systems run almost silently and without vibration under load.

This saves costs - not only in procurement, but also due to the absence of setup work and maintenance. The service life can be easily calculated online.

Installation made easy

"The igus lead screw nut is inserted flush into the 25mm aluminium tube. The nut is securely fixed with a few strokes from several sides with a centre punch and hammer.
